00:00Hello, we have another day of sunshine and heavy showers, which will lead into another
00:05cold and frosty night for many. So as we look at the UK for this afternoon, showers will
00:10start to bubble up over many parts of the country. These could be locally heavy at times,
00:15but in amongst this there will be plenty of sunny spells around as well, and with light
00:19winds it will feel pleasantly warm, with highs of 12 or 13 degrees. Now as we go through
00:25the end of the day and in through the evening, those showers will gradually ease away as
00:29the sun goes down, leaving clear skies and light winds across much of the UK. That's
00:34a recipe for temperatures to fall away quickly this evening, and in some rural spots we may
00:38well see temperatures as low as minus 3 or minus 4, leading to another frost for a first
00:43thing on Sunday morning. So Sunday morning starts off dry, bright and chilly across many
00:48parts of the UK, but as today we will see showers start to develop as we head through
00:53into the afternoon. Again, these could be locally heavy, but away from the showers in
00:56the sunshine, highs of 14 or 15 Celsius. The weather does then start to become a little
01:02more changeable as we head into next week. Strong winds and heavy rain are expected for
01:07Bank Holiday Monday, but we will hold on to those frosty nights.
