00:00How do you explain a 17-year-old kid, Jalen, like Ryan Williams?

00:04Like, I mean, is it a similar mindset?

00:07Is it just a different dude altogether?

00:09I mean, did 17 and a true freshman explain his mindset

00:14and the way he approached it?

00:15Basically, blame, just kind of explain the cat to me

00:19because I don't get it.

00:20I saw it.

00:22Yeah, no, for sure.

00:23You know, one thing I can say is that he's a unique individual

00:28and he's definitely a key resource for our offense moving forward.

00:32And I think it's so important for guys that are upperclassmen

00:35to influence the younger, the underclassmen in the best way we can

00:39as much as possible because, you know, we've seen so much playing at the,

00:43you know, at this level and know what's required to be your best.

00:46And so, you know, I think it's our job as upperclassmen,

00:49no matter what the position is, to really just influence those guys

00:52and just really just show them what right looks like in a sense.

00:55I think that's so important.

00:57He's done a really good job stepping in and continuously improving.

01:00You know, that's all it's about, you know, relentless pursuit

01:03to continuous improvement each and every day and being your best.

01:06And there's never a day that he's not trying to be his best at practice,

01:09you know.

01:10And he's definitely a cat that, you know, has a mindset

01:13where it's different than the normal 17-year-old.

01:17I remember being 17.

01:18I had a mindset like him.

01:20Right.

01:21But, you know, so, you know, I'm proud of him for his mindset,

01:26where he is as a football player.

01:28And I know he's going to continue to get better.

01:30But, you know, I just got to, you know,

01:32harp on how he is different than the normal 17-year-old.

01:36And he's a special cat.

01:38And I'm proud of him for him just to continue to improve

01:40and just have the mentality of team first

01:43and then, of course, doing what's required on his job.
