00:00:52This chair isn't just a seat.
00:00:55It's a stage for greatness.
00:01:00This chair holds the power to change lives.
00:01:31And I feel it in my blood.
00:01:36That's all I have to say.
00:01:39Voice UK 2024, are you ready?
00:01:44Make some noise for Tom and Danny McFly!
00:02:01Coming straight from Wales, the legend, Sir Tom Jones!
00:02:16The Voice UK, we are blessed to have this American treasure, this songstress, Leanne Ross!
00:02:31What a surprise!
00:02:36Okay, so this is weird because I'm announcing myself.
00:02:40Make some noise for me!
00:02:44I feel it in my blood.
00:02:51I feel it in my blood.
00:02:58New Coaches, everyone!
00:03:07Hello!
00:03:10How's everybody today?
00:03:14How many you got, Tom?
00:03:16Well, I got two acts on my team.
00:03:18We have three.
00:03:20I have four.
00:03:21And I still got three!
00:03:23Place your bets, everyone!
00:03:36Good morning.
00:03:37Hi, I'm Billy.
00:03:38And I'm Louis.
00:03:39And we are 20 and we're from Wiltshire.
00:03:43We are twins and we do finish each other's tests.
00:03:47Yeah, you do that, don't you?
00:03:49Alright, so let's do a little twin test.
00:03:50I'm thinking of a primary colour.
00:03:52Red?
00:03:53Ooh, that looks good.
00:03:54Love it!
00:03:55Do an animal.
00:03:56A pig?
00:03:57Yeah.
00:03:58That's good, isn't it?
00:03:59I was going to say goat and last minute I just thought...
00:04:00A little pig!
00:04:01Did you look at me?
00:04:04We do most things together.
00:04:06Can't wait for the cup of tea when we get there.
00:04:08You missed the turn.
00:04:09Which way am I going?
00:04:10Left.
00:04:11Which way?
00:04:12Go left.
00:04:13I'm going left.
00:04:14Carry on.
00:04:15And when it gets to the weekend, I think there's nothing that we prefer than, you know, a night out with the ladies.
00:04:20I've made some cakes to share with everybody.
00:04:22Thank you very much.
00:04:23Thank you, Grandma.
00:04:24Here we go, guys.
00:04:25Come on, then.
00:04:27We run a choir called The Grace Notes and we've been doing it for...
00:04:30Four years?
00:04:31Five years.
00:04:32Five years? Wow.
00:04:33The age range is from 17 to about 80.
00:04:37You'd probably get to see our lovely Grandma.
00:04:39Our oldest member, I think, is Carol.
00:04:41Oh, you look lovely as well.
00:04:42Thanks.
00:04:43Yeah, lovely.
00:04:44She's just the best person, honestly.
00:04:46Most people our age, I'm sure, would like to go out clubbing and stuff,
00:04:48but there's lots of lovely people there and they all support us so much.
00:04:52Whatever you're singing, lovely you.
00:04:54I know you are. Absolutely.
00:04:58How are you feeling about today?
00:04:59Yeah, a bit nervous.
00:05:00We haven't practised with an inch of our life, I think.
00:05:03And we've got this little code, so if something's going wrong on your end, I'll flap about a bit.
00:05:08But I'll know what the flapping means.
00:05:09You'll know what that means, yeah.
00:05:10How long have you been singing for?
00:05:11Oh, we've been singing since we were about 11, I reckon.
00:05:14Yeah.
00:05:15We'd always used to, you know, harmonise with each other
00:05:17and try harmonies with, like, the microwave and the Hoover and stuff like that
00:05:21when we were really young and stuff.
00:05:22So, I know, weirdos, right?
00:05:24I just didn't expect that to come out of your mouth.
00:05:32We're so excited for us to be doing this.
00:05:35We don't talk about anything else now.
00:05:37Having the chairs turned is nice, because not us relying on the fact that we're twins.
00:05:42For them just to be listening to our voices is going to be really, really lovely.
00:05:46Yeah.
00:05:53It's good to be a bit nervous, but any experience is so much better
00:05:56when you've got someone to be just as excited about it with you.
00:06:07Yeah.
00:06:14I know that when you look at me
00:06:20There's so much that you just don't see
00:06:26But if you would only take the time
00:06:32I know in my heart you'll find
00:06:38Oh, a girl who's scared sometimes
00:06:42Who isn't always strong
00:06:45Can't you see the heart in me?
00:06:47I feel so all alone
00:06:50I wanna run to you
00:06:57I wanna run to you
00:07:04Won't you hold me in your arms
00:07:07And keep me safe from harm
00:07:10I wanna run to you
00:07:16But if I come to you
00:07:24Who will you save?
00:07:27Or will you run, run away?
00:07:36Run away
00:07:44Run, run away
00:07:55Run, run away
00:08:08What's your band's names?
00:08:09I'm Billy.
00:08:10I'm Louis.
00:08:11And we're Billy and Louis.
00:08:15And you guys are twins?
00:08:16We are twins indeed, yeah.
00:08:20Who told it?
00:08:21Oh, I'm old by two minutes.
00:08:23And where are you guys from?
00:08:24We're from Wiltshire.
00:08:25And we're 20.
00:08:26Wow, to tackle Whitney Houston like that and do it so well,
00:08:29your harmonies were just like really stellar and stunning
00:08:32and that was gorgeous.
00:08:34Thank you very much.
00:08:39So, do you sing professionally?
00:08:41Yeah, we put together choirs.
00:08:43Oh, okay.
00:08:44We've not quite cracked the scene of males yet.
00:08:46No, for some reason we just attract women,
00:08:48which is lovely.
00:08:49Very nice.
00:08:50Well, you sound really something.
00:08:52I mean, that's why we all turned for you.
00:08:54You're really excellent singers and the blend is great.
00:08:57It was lovely.
00:08:58It was really something.
00:08:59Thank you very much.
00:09:00Thank you very much.
00:09:03Guys, that was an amazing audition.
00:09:05It was incredible.
00:09:06Your voices work so well together.
00:09:08Obviously, me and Danny, we've been singing with each other
00:09:10for 22, 23 years.
00:09:12We know how hard it is to get your harmonies that tight,
00:09:14especially when you're under the pressure of it being
00:09:16this environment, an audition.
00:09:18It sounded amazing.
00:09:19You've got an amazing talent.
00:09:24I would absolutely love to work with you both.
00:09:26I love the sound of your voices.
00:09:28They're just really, really beautiful.
00:09:30You guys could pretty much sing anything,
00:09:32and I would love to have you on Team Leanne.
00:09:34Thank you very much.
00:09:39I can't add much to that.
00:09:41I mean, you just said...
00:09:43You can just say, I'm Tom Chung.
00:09:45Well...
00:09:46It's gold.
00:09:47It's gold.
00:09:48I mean...
00:09:49You sound like you could do almost anything
00:09:51that you put your minds to,
00:09:53and I would like to be part of it, if possible.
00:09:55So I would love for you to come with me, if you want to.
00:09:58Thank you very much.
00:10:03It was a beautiful performance,
00:10:05and I'd like you to be on my team.
00:10:08You guys are twins.
00:10:09Yeah.
00:10:10You can't spell wins without twins.
00:10:12Oh!
00:10:13Oh!
00:10:14Whoo!
00:10:15LAUGHTER AND APPLAUSE
00:10:20Look, there's two of you.
00:10:22There's two of us.
00:10:23And you two look like a good replacement for Harry and Dougie.
00:10:26Yeah.
00:10:27We've been trying to find a way to get rid of them for years.
00:10:32We would love to have you on our team,
00:10:34though you have incredible voices,
00:10:36and we would be honoured if you would become part of Team Tom & Danny.
00:10:39Yeah. Thank you. Thank you very much.
00:10:43Yeah, right now, it's time for you guys to choose a team.
00:10:46Could you give us two minutes? Well, maybe 30 seconds.
00:10:49Yeah, take as long as you like.
00:10:51Take as long as you like.
00:11:00You go, you go.
00:11:01I think...
00:11:02Oh, Tom, you look so content there.
00:11:04We'd love to go with you.
00:11:08I knew they were going to go with Tom!
00:11:12CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
00:11:21Big, big ring. You can get a big ring.
00:11:25Well done, well done.
00:11:35All right!
00:11:38Yeah!
00:11:39That had Tom written all over it.
00:11:41Yeah.
00:11:43That was good.
00:11:45That was great.
00:11:47Incredible.
00:11:48Tremendous singers.
00:11:51Did you think the twins were going to go with you?
00:11:53No, that's why we were fighting hard.
00:11:55I knew they were going for Tom. I did too.
00:11:57You know how I know?
00:11:58Like, when Tom is, like, chill...
00:12:00Yeah, he knows.
00:12:01He's like, they're coming here.
00:12:03LAUGHTER
00:12:11MUSIC
00:12:20What are you looking for?
00:12:21I don't know until I hear it, really.
00:12:23I'm looking for something that's unique.
00:12:26I just want to have, like, a smorgasbord of oddities.
00:12:31Oddities? I like it.
00:12:33It'd be cool to go young, pop rock.
00:12:35Like McFly.
00:12:36Like McFly.
00:12:37Yes!
00:12:38Yes!
00:12:41So you'd normally be walking up to Anfield today, wouldn't you?
00:12:44I know, but I'm walking into the voice instead.
00:12:47Hiya.
00:12:48I've never been interviewed like this on telly before.
00:12:51My name's Paul, I am 18, and I am from Liverpool.
00:12:56I love being from Liverpool.
00:12:58It's such a boss city, boss people.
00:13:00Being Scousers is boss.
00:13:05I am a massive Liverpool fan.
00:13:08People say football is just a game.
00:13:10It really is not.
00:13:12It's beautiful.
00:13:13It properly speaks to me, in the same way music does.
00:13:17The biggest supporters have got to be my mum and dad,
00:13:19and they take me to all the gigs.
00:13:21I've got mum and dad's taxi over there.
00:13:23They're still learning how to drive!
00:13:25MUSIC
00:13:281, 2, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6!
00:13:32MUSIC
00:13:36This is a pub, literally, by Anfield.
00:13:38I get to play Liverpool songs before and after the game.
00:13:41I love it. I wake up and I'm like, this is bossness.
00:13:44MUSIC
00:13:47Football or music?
00:13:48That is like asking whether I love my mum or my dad more.
00:13:51Football's my first love, obviously.
00:13:54Music is why I'm here.
00:13:59MUSIC
00:14:03I've never done anything to this extent.
00:14:05This is the biggest moment in my life.
00:14:07This could be the next step for me, hopefully.
00:14:16Literally, I haven't got words to say how proud I am of him.
00:14:19He's just absolutely flying at life at the moment.
00:14:22In awe of him, really, to be honest with you.
00:14:25How far he's come, I really am.
00:14:27MUSIC
00:14:31Just hoping for a chair turn, to be fair.
00:14:34A little round of applause would be nice.
00:14:37Obviously the McFly boys are there.
00:14:39Hopefully the guitar will catch their attention.
00:14:41We'll see what happens, eh?
00:14:47MUSIC
00:15:04MUSIC
00:15:34MUSIC
00:16:04MUSIC
00:16:35MUSIC
00:16:45MUSIC
00:16:56I'm so sorry. He's so good.
00:16:59MUSIC
00:17:04MUSIC
00:17:08It just wasn't...
00:17:12Play the guitar!
00:17:14That's why we said that.
00:17:16Oh, that hurts. It does.
00:17:18I felt that one. Just...
00:17:22I am gutted, don't get me wrong, but what can you do?
00:17:24He's just crack on now.
00:17:26Yeah, I gave him my best, what can you do?
00:17:29Just on to the next thing.
00:17:31Yeah.
00:17:34How do you all take rejection?
00:17:36Not well. Not well.
00:17:38Don't you think, though, rejection builds strength?
00:17:41Totally. It does.
00:17:43I was nearly in a band with Emma's husband, Matt.
00:17:45Oh, really? Yeah, so he's in a band called Busted.
00:17:48So I auditioned for this band and I got in.
00:17:51And it was everything I'd wanted.
00:17:53And then, about 24 hours later, the manager called me and said,
00:17:56we're just going to keep it as a three-piece and you're no longer needed.
00:17:59Oh, no.
00:18:01And it was heartbreaking.
00:18:03Getting Busted taken away from me made me realise how much I wanted it.
00:18:08Yeah. And it was only because of that that McFly started.
00:18:15It was the rejection from Busted that was the catalyst for McFly.
00:18:20And it all worked out perfectly. I got to write songs for Busted.
00:18:23We go on tour with them, they're our best mates. Yeah.
00:18:26Oh, ready to go for our next audition.
00:18:29Right, we ready?
00:18:35I'm Amber, I'm 27, and I'm from Manchester.
00:18:39I live with my daughter, Mila. She's four years old.
00:18:42SHE GROANS
00:18:44Did I get it? Oh, you got it on your nose!
00:18:46She's my reason for everything now.
00:18:48SHE GIGGLES
00:18:50Cheeky monkey.
00:18:51I love being a single mum. I wouldn't change it for the world.
00:18:54I couldn't have asked for a better child, honestly.
00:18:57The best.
00:19:01My mum is her favourite person in the world, honestly. I love her.
00:19:04I think she's incredibly talented, I always have.
00:19:08Until she had Mila, she was really lacking in confidence.
00:19:12Trying to get her to sing in front of people, you know,
00:19:14other than in a bedroom, cos that's all she ever did was in a bedroom.
00:19:19I just can't wait. I actually can't wait, but I'm scared.
00:19:22Yeah, the reason I'm doing it is for my daughter, for my mum.
00:19:26Good luck, Mummy.
00:19:28Good luck, Mummy.
00:19:30MUSIC PLAYS
00:19:35I've not always been the most confident.
00:19:37I left school, I gained quite a lot of weight,
00:19:39I just didn't really feel myself.
00:19:41Obviously, I've lost a bit of weight,
00:19:43and I've got my spark back a little bit.
00:19:46I've not really done many performances on stage before,
00:19:48so this is, like, the biggest thing I've ever done.
00:19:51I am feeling really nervous, but I'm hoping to channel them nerves
00:19:54and get through my performance.
00:19:57I'm definitely going to have to look at the side of the stage
00:19:59to find my daughter Mila.
00:20:00I think that's the encouragement I'm going to need,
00:20:02just her little thumbs up there, that's everything.
00:20:04That's all I'll need, and I'll be good to go.
00:20:08MUSIC CONTINUES
00:20:16PIANO PLAYS
00:20:18PIANO PLAYS
00:20:22It could all be so simple
00:20:29But you'll never make it hard
00:20:35See, no-one loves me more than you
00:20:41And no-one ever will
00:20:44No matter how I think we grow
00:20:47You always seem to let me know
00:20:50It ain't working
00:20:53It ain't working
00:20:56And when I try to walk away
00:20:59You hurt yourself to make me stay
00:21:02This is crazy
00:21:05And this is crazy
00:21:09I keep letting you back in
00:21:15How can I explain myself?
00:21:22See, no-one's hurt me more than you
00:21:28And no-one ever will
00:21:33Care for me, care for me
00:21:35I know you care for me
00:21:37You'll be there for me, care for me
00:21:39Said you'll be there for me
00:21:40Cry for me, cry for me
00:21:42I know you cry for me
00:21:43Give to me, give to me
00:21:45Why won't you live for me?
00:21:56CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
00:22:08CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
00:22:16Honestly, thank you so much.
00:22:18Oh, thank you.
00:22:20Are you OK?
00:22:22What's your name, love?
00:22:24Amber, I'm 27, and I'm from third world Manchester.
00:22:27CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
00:22:31Oh, my word!
00:22:33That was beautiful.
00:22:34Thank you! Oh, my God!
00:22:37That was beautiful. Thank you.
00:22:39I mean, I really wish I pressed it now.
00:22:41I mean, thank God we'll... Thank God!
00:22:43Yes, of course. Thank God!
00:22:45No, no, I mean, you've got to be on this show.
00:22:47There's no doubt about that. Yeah.
00:22:49You have to. Yeah.
00:22:50CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
00:22:52How long have you been singing?
00:22:54Well, I'd say I started singing in, like, high school, so, like, 11.
00:22:57When I left school, I stopped for a little bit,
00:22:59and now I'm starting again.
00:23:00Why did you stop?
00:23:01I don't know, I think it was, like, a confidence thing at the time.
00:23:04You've got an amazing voice. You know, you should totally have confidence in it.
00:23:07I'll be honest, guys, I put on a bit of timber when I left school,
00:23:10and honestly, I'll be honest with you, I thought...
00:23:12I just looked a bit of a mess for a little minute,
00:23:14so I weren't feeling myself, so I weren't feeling it,
00:23:16but just a bit of weight, got my mojo back,
00:23:18and I'm ready to go. You look amazing.
00:23:20Thank you. Thank you.
00:23:22That's what I thought it was.
00:23:24I can relate. I can totally relate to that.
00:23:26When we first started in the band, I did the same.
00:23:28It's hard. It's really hard being in the public eye
00:23:30and not feeling at your best, you know?
00:23:32Well, you look amazing, and you sound amazing.
00:23:34Absolutely stunning. Thank you.
00:23:36Yeah.
00:23:40That was awesome. I love the little growl in your voice.
00:23:43I tried. I tried.
00:23:44You went from this, like, sweet, sexy thing
00:23:46to, like, this growl, and, like, it was very layered.
00:23:49I really enjoyed it. Thank you.
00:23:51I should have turned. I should have turned.
00:23:55You know, when you have, like, iconic songs like that,
00:23:58a lot of times, you want an artist
00:24:00to either go to the far extreme
00:24:02and not sound anything like the song,
00:24:04or they go to the other extreme,
00:24:06and they try to sound exactly like
00:24:08the artist that they're singing,
00:24:10but you sounded like you on that song.
00:24:15Really, it sounded really, really awesome.
00:24:17Everything was solid. And it goes.
00:24:19Yeah, you're gonna look back at this performance,
00:24:22you're gonna be like, yeah, check me out.
00:24:24Yeah, I'm gonna cruise the deck.
00:24:26Follow me, and it will be there forever,
00:24:28and it's a stellar performance.
00:24:30You should be super proud of yourself.
00:24:32Thank you so much, Alistair. Thank you.

00:26:40Hello. How's it going?
00:26:42I've heard I need to try a sausage roll.
00:26:44That's the classic.
00:26:46What's that, rosé?
00:26:48Thank you, my love.
00:26:50Can I get the usual, please?
00:26:52One vegan sausage roll, one sausage roll,
00:26:54and a cheese slice, please.
00:26:56That's your usual? It's my usual, yeah.
00:26:58I didn't have to order that. They normally have it ready.
00:27:00Oh, very nice.
00:27:02Thank you, thank you, thank you.
00:27:04Thanks, Kieran.
00:27:06Bye, guys. Let's go and enjoy lunch.
00:27:08And maybe hear some more singers.
00:27:10Sounds good to me.
00:27:12CHEERING
00:27:14All right, now, let's go for tea.
00:27:22I'm Dewayne. I'm Noel.
00:27:24We're from South East London.
00:27:26And we love to put in our seats.
00:27:32I am a teaching assistant
00:27:34that specialises in behaviour.
00:27:36I can teach a young person.
00:27:38I can be a voice for a young person.
00:27:40I love the idea of giving back.
00:27:42I work in construction.
00:27:44You might see me with measuring up,
00:27:46looking at some blueprints,
00:27:48but I like my tea break.
00:27:50Let's be fair, who doesn't love a cup of tea?
00:27:52When we're not working,
00:27:54family is everything to us.
00:28:00I actually have two sons myself.
00:28:02So I've got Loan, who's 13,
00:28:04and Otis, who is seven.
00:28:06And they're such a joy, full of life and energy.
00:28:08And they're always dragging us out down the park.
00:28:10It has to be us two on the same team, obviously.
00:28:12Nice!
00:28:14Musically, they're probably going to take us on soon.
00:28:20We've got to stay ahead and keep writing
00:28:22because they're coming.
00:28:26Have you performed a lot?
00:28:28At the age of 17, we joined Soul Sunday Crew.
00:28:32Do you know what's happening in my head right now?
00:28:34What's happening?
00:28:36I got 21 seconds to go!
00:28:40I would say joining Soul Sunday Crew
00:28:42definitely changed our life at that time.
00:28:44And we've learnt a lot from them musically.
00:28:46We have their experience now, the years of it.
00:28:48So we're like, you know what?
00:28:50It's time to see.
00:28:56Our passion has always been music.
00:28:58This has been our dream.
00:29:00We want it. We need it.
00:29:02This is the performance of our life.

00:31:20More twins.
00:31:22What's your guys' names?
00:31:24Dwayne and I'm Noel,
00:31:26together we're the Twin MCs.
00:31:32So you guys are twins?
00:31:34Yeah.
00:31:36That's amazing.
00:31:38So you got half that,
00:31:40and half that.
00:31:42So you guys got half of the rap too,
00:31:44that was brilliant.
00:31:46I'm glad you called out.
00:31:48Seriously, I've never heard anything like that.
00:31:50That was awesome.
00:32:00You're the first rappers
00:32:02that I've ever turned for.
00:32:04Wow.
00:32:06Honestly.
00:32:08It's not my thing,
00:32:10I can't teach you anything.
00:32:14I can't say,
00:32:16well I think you should do this.
00:32:18If you came with me,
00:32:20which I would love you to,
00:32:22I would have to say,
00:32:24well hey fellas,
00:32:26whatever you want to do.
00:32:32But I loved it.
00:32:36I totally dug it.
00:32:38I really did,
00:32:40and I love how you threw our names in there.
00:32:42That was smart.
00:32:44I thought there might have been more than two of you,
00:32:46because there was so much going on.
00:32:48It was awesome.
00:32:50I mean, it was that tight,
00:32:52I thought you literally had yourself on MPCs.
00:32:54I was like,
00:32:56you know that kind of thing, right?
00:32:58And though we might not be the obvious choice,
00:33:00you're the Twin MCs, right?
00:33:02We're MC Fly.
00:33:04Yeah.
00:33:06I love it.
00:33:10And we believe you can twin the show.
00:33:22That's good.
00:33:26Alright, so check this out.
00:33:28I need you to ask
00:33:30Sir Tom Jones,
00:33:32do you have twins on your team?
00:33:34And I'm pretty sure you don't want to go
00:33:36to a room with other twins.
00:33:40You know what I'm saying?
00:33:42That would be twin peaks.
00:33:46We don't want no peaking.
00:33:50I just so happen not to have twins.
00:33:54So, let's go through that exercise
00:33:56right now and see what the results are.
00:33:59Yo Tom,
00:34:01do you got twins on your team?
00:34:03I got twins on my team.
00:34:07But not like you.
00:34:09You know, they're singers.
00:34:11You know, they do harmony and everything.
00:34:13But they can't rap.
00:34:17You guys want to think about it?
00:34:24That was fast.
00:34:28That was so fast.
00:34:30That was a quick thought.
00:34:32Respect to all the coaches today.
00:34:34First and foremost, thank you for watching.
00:34:36Thank you for turning.
00:34:38Even if you didn't turn, thank you for listening.
00:34:40You're all inspirational.
00:34:42We have decided to go with...
00:34:44Drumroll, drumroll.
00:34:46Let's go.
00:34:52It's Will!
00:34:58It's Will!
00:35:08Dang, you guys are really identical.
00:35:14Tremendous.
00:35:18Oh yeah!
00:35:28Oh yeah!
00:35:34Those guys were great.
00:35:36Welcome to Team Will.
00:35:38I like that.
00:35:40Team Will.
00:35:42That was so good.
00:35:44I would love to be on Team Will.
00:35:48I really want to learn how to rap.
00:35:50Come on, Ms. Rhymes.
00:35:52I fell in love with rap
00:35:54when I was like 11
00:35:56when I heard my first Salt-N-Pepa record.
00:35:58They were the best.
00:36:00Here I go, here I go, here I go
00:36:02Again, girls, what's my weakness?
00:36:04Men!
00:36:06Okay, then chillin', chillin'
00:36:08Minding my business
00:36:10You saw I looked a rat
00:36:12And I couldn't believe this
00:36:14I swear, I stand
00:36:16My niece my witness
00:36:18The brother had to go
00:36:20Went on with something kinda
00:36:22Aw, wicked, wicked
00:36:24Made me wanna do tricks
00:36:26There you go.
00:36:28That's so dope.
00:36:48How many we on now?
00:36:50I have five.
00:36:52Where you at, Tom?
00:36:54Three.
00:36:56We have three.
00:36:58So, what are you looking for?
00:37:00An exciting voice.
00:37:02Somebody that punches excitement.
00:37:06Come on.
00:37:14I'm Ryan.
00:37:16I'm Rory.
00:37:18I'm Adam.
00:37:21The harp is the main symbol of Ireland.
00:37:24It's on the passports, the euros,
00:37:26the pints of Guinness.
00:37:28So we were saying, what better name?
00:37:30So we've known each other
00:37:32about ten years now.
00:37:34We laugh, we fight, and we cry.
00:37:38And now we're singing
00:37:40all around the world.
00:37:42We perform mainly on cruise ships.
00:37:44I feel like we're like the Irish Jane McDonalds
00:37:46times four.
00:37:50A lot of our fans,
00:37:52they're usually women
00:37:54on the more mature side.
00:37:56They really enjoy the show,
00:37:58get worked up, tell us we've got sexy knees.
00:38:00Some very strange interactions.
00:38:06We're gonna just show them
00:38:08exactly what we're bringing,
00:38:10and I think we can do well.
00:38:12Let's just do the best we can do.
00:38:14The perks of being in the group
00:38:16is we all have each other's backs
00:38:18and say if someone has an off day
00:38:20or they miss something, we can pick up the slack.
00:38:22So it's a team effort, which is great to have.
00:38:30We've done some great shows,
00:38:32but this is just several other levels up.
00:38:40We really want it to go well,
00:38:42and are praying that we'll get a turnaround.
00:38:44I know we're gonna all do it together
00:38:46and make each other proud.
00:39:14On the 4th of July,
00:39:161806,
00:39:18we set sail
00:39:20from the sweet Polar Park.
00:39:22We were sailing away
00:39:24with a cargo of bricks
00:39:26for the Grand City Hall
00:39:28in New York.
00:39:30It was a wonderful crowd,
00:39:32she was rich, poor, and fat,
00:39:34and oh, how the wild winds blow.
00:39:36She had one girl class,
00:39:38she had 27 class,
00:39:40and they called her
00:39:42the Irish Broker.
00:39:46There was old Mickey Coot
00:39:48who played hard on his flute
00:39:50when the ladies lined up
00:39:52for his set.
00:39:54He was two-ten with skill,
00:39:56for his bark could not drill,
00:39:58though the downstairs were fluted and bent.
00:40:00With his spark
00:40:02sweet he talked, he was cop called
00:40:04the Walker, as he rolled the
00:40:06necks under and over.
00:40:08They all knew that at last
00:40:10when he took up his stance
00:40:12well, he sang of the Irish
00:40:14Broker.
00:40:16And the
00:40:18ship struck a rumble,
00:40:20for what a shock, the bulkhead
00:40:22was turned right over,
00:40:24turned nine times
00:40:26around, and the poor dog was
00:40:28drowned.
00:40:30I'm the last of the Irish
00:40:32Broker.
00:40:34She was a wonderful crowd,
00:40:36she was rich, poor, and fat,
00:40:38and I know how the Walker
00:40:40was broken.
00:40:42She had seven robots,
00:40:44she had twenty-seven busts,
00:40:46and they called her the Irish
00:40:48Broker.
00:41:00What an excitement!
00:41:02And that was it!
00:41:08We're all
00:41:10broken.
00:41:14We're all
00:41:16broken.
00:41:18The plan was get out there and give it
00:41:20our best, be us, and we did
00:41:22that.
00:41:24Danny and Tom should have turned, right?
00:41:26That's right.
00:41:28But we all didn't turn, not just
00:41:30me and Tom!
00:41:32Why didn't you turn?
00:41:34Ha ha ha!
00:41:36They were dancing as well!
00:41:38They were good, though.
00:41:40They were good.
00:41:42And they would have been good for the show, too.
00:41:44I liked it a lot!
00:41:48Well, we gave it our all,
00:41:50so what more can we do?
00:41:52Exactly.
00:42:00We're picky.
00:42:02We are picky, yeah, but it's also
00:42:04we've got things we're looking for,
00:42:06yeah, but also it needs to reach that bar.
00:42:08It needs to be on point.
00:42:10Man, I'd hate to be sitting up
00:42:12and be singing for us.
00:42:14It's hard.
00:42:16It's hard.
00:42:18We are ready for our next act, thank you.
00:42:26Nice and cozy.
00:42:28My name's Nathan Grisdale.
00:42:30I'm 29.
00:42:32I'm a musician from Blackburn.
00:42:34So I started singing around
00:42:36ten years ago.
00:42:38I started posting videos online
00:42:40from my bathroom.
00:42:42I came up with the idea to do personalised songs
00:42:44where people would send me their story,
00:42:46whether it be for a first dance song,
00:42:48someone that's sadly lost a loved one.
00:42:50I've even done a gender-revealed song.
00:42:52You name it, I've done it.
00:42:54For people to trust me with their stories
00:42:56and put that into a song, it's very rewarding.
00:43:04I live with my fiancée, Hayley,
00:43:06and my five-month-old, Renan.
00:43:08Nathan is
00:43:10an amazing singer
00:43:12and just the best dad ever.
00:43:14It's a big day, isn't it?
00:43:16But it's amazing to have a little man.
00:43:18Little man here, watching Daddy sing.
00:43:20Renan was born two months
00:43:22earlier, so that was a very difficult time
00:43:24for him to sort of touch and go.
00:43:32When he was born,
00:43:34he had sepsis at birth and he came out not breathing
00:43:36so they had to revive him.
00:43:38It was the most stressful time of her life, yeah.
00:43:40Very worrying.
00:43:46The song I'm singing for my blind audition
00:43:48is a song called I Promise
00:43:50that I wrote for my son, Renan,
00:43:52Intensive Care.
00:43:54I was Nathan's
00:43:56number one fan. I would say Renan's
00:43:58Nathan's number one fan now.
00:44:00The fact that I can have him here today and sing
00:44:02this song means more than anything.
00:44:08I feel like everything we've been
00:44:10through as a family, I feel like we deserve
00:44:12a bit of good news. Hopefully today

00:45:34It'll be
00:45:36so crazy
00:45:38having a baby
00:45:40I never
00:45:42thought it'd feel
00:45:44this way
00:45:46And I promise
00:45:48I'll
00:45:50do all I can

00:45:58And it'll be
00:46:00so crazy
00:46:02having a baby
00:46:04I never
00:46:06thought it'd feel
00:46:08this way
00:46:10The way I feel
00:46:12today
00:46:16Fall in love
00:46:18yeah
00:46:22Fall in love
00:46:24yeah
00:46:26Cause we're in a
00:46:28perfect life
00:46:30They're all at the same
00:46:32level
00:46:34Hi!
00:46:36I'm a bit emotional. Oh, what's your name?
00:46:38My name's Nathan Grisdale.
00:46:40I'm from Blackburn.
00:46:42Wow, what made you
00:46:44so emotional? So that's an original
00:46:46song. I wrote it for
00:46:48my son, he was born two months early
00:46:50and I wrote that song while he was in hospital
00:46:52because the first week, he had like a little mask
00:46:54on and he had like a little light and it was like, just can't wait
00:46:56to see your face. Cause we didn't see his face for a week, we didn't get
00:46:58to hold him for a week. And yeah,
00:47:00he's actually over there, bless him.
00:47:02Oh man.
00:47:04Oh my god.
00:47:08How old is he now?
00:47:10He's five months, but corrected age three.
00:47:12Very small for five months.
00:47:14So you wrote the song like four months ago?
00:47:16Yeah. That's a beautiful thing.
00:47:18Oh my god.
00:47:24That's a great song.
00:47:26Thank you so much. It's a beautiful song.
00:47:28It sounds like a song that you've heard before.
00:47:30Yeah. Cause it's so good.
00:47:36Honestly, I'm kicking myself so much.
00:47:38I don't know why I didn't press my button
00:47:40as well. Cause I felt the lyrics,
00:47:42the bit about, you know, being your best
00:47:44mate and like mummy's boy and your best
00:47:46mate. I was like, oh man, that really,
00:47:48I've got three little boys and like,
00:47:50it makes me emotional talking about it.
00:47:52I just, I'm so
00:47:54annoyed with myself that I didn't press my button.
00:47:56But it's an amazing,
00:47:58an amazing song and you've got an incredible
00:48:00voice as well. Thank you so much.
00:48:08I just love that you showed us your
00:48:10artistry through your songwriting.
00:48:12That was beautiful. Really, really beautiful.
00:48:14And I could tell you were emotional.
00:48:16There's some nerves there and some emotion
00:48:18which I love. Like, but you did
00:48:20such a beautiful job of controlling that and really
00:48:22gaining your composure to finish
00:48:24out the song. Like, you're such an interesting
00:48:26beautiful voice. Like, just
00:48:28everything about it. I could feel your
00:48:30heart. You have this really
00:48:32quality to your voice along with such a
00:48:34beautiful emotional landscape
00:48:36inside of you. I'm so excited.
00:48:38Yeah, this is going to be amazing.
00:48:44Welcome to Team Leanne.
00:48:46I'm excited. Come on Leanne, let's do it.
00:48:58Yeah. Tremendous.
00:49:00Yeah, really, really.
00:49:02Well done, mate. You showed yourself
00:49:04amazing there.
00:49:06Congratulations.
00:49:20Can we get a turn?
00:49:22Congratulations. Thank you.
00:49:24Isn't it amazing how through
00:49:26a microphone he's singing
00:49:28towards facing the wrong way,
00:49:30coming down out of the PA, and you're like
00:49:32this, I'm feeling something. Oh, yeah.
00:49:34I just love that he took the risk of
00:49:36performing his own material. Definitely. Yeah.
00:49:38Yeah, yeah. Oh, that's really great. Yeah.
00:49:40I like it. I like his bravery.
00:49:42I think everybody in the building in the night show
00:49:44it was beautiful. Oh, thank you.
00:49:46Get us all proud.
00:49:48Thank you for singing it here.
00:49:50And he's beautiful. Thank you.
00:49:52Thank you. And I'll see you at the callbacks.
00:49:54Thank you. See you there. Thank you.
00:50:16Hey, everyone.
00:50:18Give it up for the band. How amazing are they?
00:50:20Woohoo!
00:50:24Woohoo!
00:50:26Do you reckon
00:50:28I could have made it in the voice band?
00:50:30Basically, what I'm trying to say
00:50:32is I want to leave McFly
00:50:34and join that band with Dave.
00:50:36Do you want to go join them?
00:50:38Is that possible?
00:50:42What do you reckon?
00:50:44Wait,
00:50:46you're going to play music while the singers come out
00:50:48and sing? Stay in charge of this
00:50:50band, OK?
00:51:04Is it in ears up here?
00:51:06What key?
00:51:08G minor.
00:51:12Bit of pressure, innit?
00:51:14Someone's audition.
00:51:16I've got to think
00:51:18like Danny now.
00:51:20That's pretty easy.
00:51:30What's happening?
00:51:32How are we doing? I'm good.
00:51:34Are we ready? Yeah, we're ready.
00:51:36Cool. Let's do it.
00:51:38I'm Calum Jones, 23,
00:51:40and I'm from the north-east of Scotland.
00:51:46I live in a tiny little
00:51:48four-house town on the top of a hill
00:51:50in the middle of nowhere.
00:51:52It's a really beautiful place to live.
00:51:54I'm a pretty quiet person.
00:51:56I'm not a guy for crowds.
00:51:58What I love to do is build guitars.
00:52:00I'll happily sit and sand a guitar
00:52:02for like six hours a day.
00:52:04His whole life evolves
00:52:06around his music.
00:52:08He gigs every night, pretty much.
00:52:10You can find him in a pub in Inverness somewhere
00:52:12every night of every week of every year.
00:52:14And he's been like that from he was very young.
00:52:16Some of the pubs I play in
00:52:18are like old.
00:52:20My regular crowd is three people
00:52:22at the bar, if that.
00:52:24It's not like I'm going to get the chance every day
00:52:26for Leanne Rimes to walk in looking for a pint.
00:52:28So I'm going to make this one count.
00:52:32Coming here today
00:52:34is like worlds apart.
00:52:36Small, tiny pubs with no one in them.
00:52:38I just need to
00:52:40make sure that I'm not overthinking things.
00:52:42Switch those nerves off
00:52:44and do what I know I can do.
00:52:46You know in the silence before the performance
00:52:48you might look back at me so you don't want to see your face.
00:52:50So I'll just look down.
00:52:52From the start, yeah?
00:52:54Have you seen what's happening?
00:52:56Yes.
00:53:00Is Danny actually going to play when he's singing?
00:53:02That's mega cool.
00:53:04And here we go.
00:53:06Three seconds.
00:53:12Three seconds.
00:53:18I'm just a small town country boy
00:53:20but I've got big aspirations
00:53:22so I'm going to put
00:53:24everything I can possibly put into it
00:53:26and make it count.
00:53:30I'm terrified.
00:53:42I'm terrified.
00:53:46No one's got the chance
00:53:48to break you
00:53:50or damage you.
00:53:54Were you born to resist?
00:53:58Be abused.
00:54:04Boy, you're gone and on
00:54:06to someone new.
00:54:08I needed
00:54:10somewhere to hang my head.
00:54:16You gave me something
00:54:18I didn't have.
00:54:20It had
00:54:22no use.
00:54:24Oh, I wish to reach
00:54:26and give it
00:54:28to strong dudes.
00:54:32Someone get
00:54:34the best, the best,
00:54:36the best, the best
00:54:38to you.
00:54:40Someone get
00:54:42the best, the best,
00:54:44the best, the best
00:54:46to you.
00:54:48Someone take
00:54:50anything that's real
00:54:52and make it your best.
00:54:54You trust, you must confess.
00:54:56Someone get
00:54:58the best, the best,
00:55:00the best, the best
00:55:02to you.
00:55:04Someone get
00:55:06the best, the best, the best,
00:55:08the best to
00:55:10you.
00:55:34Danny's there. Oh, Danny's there.
00:55:36What's up, mate? What's up, dude?
00:55:38What's up, dude? How are you, man?
00:55:40Good, mate, you? Confused now.
00:55:42Yeah.
00:55:44That's Tom? Yeah, I figured that one.
00:55:46Yeah.
00:55:48How you doing?
00:55:50What's your name? My name is Callum.
00:55:52Where you from? Scotland, yeah.
00:55:54Nice.
00:56:00Could you not tell that you had an extra guitarist
00:56:02behind you? No.
00:56:14I just went to the loo.
00:56:16I just went to the loo.
00:56:20That was an amazing audition. Me and Danny have been
00:56:22waiting for someone
00:56:24with a voice that is just like yours
00:56:26to come along. As soon as you started singing, I thought
00:56:28you had some of those
00:56:30rich, rock, raspy
00:56:32qualities that I think Danny's got in his voice
00:56:34as well, and that's
00:56:36exactly the kind of singer that I think we
00:56:38are missing from our team. And also,
00:56:40with me and Danny, there's obviously two of us. We have
00:56:42a definite divide in our music
00:56:44tastes, but there is a crossover, and I think
00:56:46where we cross over is
00:56:48with a voice like yours.
00:56:54As soon as I
00:56:56saw Tom hit the button,
00:56:58I knew what he was looking for, you see, so
00:57:00I thought, well, why should I compete
00:57:02with that? But
00:57:04I love what you did. You sounded like you meant it.
00:57:06I tried to. And I
00:57:08like that.
00:57:12Hi, Calum. I also know what
00:57:14Tom and Danny are looking for, but I chose to
00:57:16compete because I
00:57:18love your voice. It is so powerful
00:57:20and so raw and really
00:57:22interesting, and I love
00:57:24that song. You had me jamming back there.
00:57:26Taylor Hawkins
00:57:28is a dear friend of mine and my neighbor,
00:57:30actually.
00:57:32I'm just a fan.
00:57:34Yeah, I would love to have you.
00:57:36That was awesome.
00:57:42How old did you say you were again?
00:57:4423. I used to be 23.
00:57:48Long, long time ago.
00:57:50Whoa!
00:57:56Age is an amazing thing, you know?
00:57:58It's like, I used to be a
00:58:00great.
00:58:02Now I'm almost a whine.
00:58:04But, back to you.
00:58:06You are awesome.
00:58:08You have an awesome choice
00:58:10between the lads
00:58:12and the lady.
00:58:14Now it's time for you to select
00:58:16who's going to be your coach.
00:58:20This is the
00:58:22King of the World.
00:58:24Did you come here with someone
00:58:26in mind, or are you confused? Do you need
00:58:28more help? I'm always confused, man.
00:58:30Help is always needed.
00:58:36I'll be honest, I did come here with an idea
00:58:38of who I was looking to pick.
00:58:40I absolutely
00:58:42love you and Coyote Ugly.
00:58:46That was
00:58:48my introduction to you.
00:58:50I grew up with you guys.
00:58:52Room on the Third Floor was one of my
00:58:54first albums that I had.
00:58:56So, yeah.
00:58:58If it's
00:59:00chill with you boys, I'd love
00:59:02to come and jam.
00:59:10Very nice.
00:59:12Yeah.
00:59:14That's so nice.
00:59:22Super talented.
00:59:24So nice to meet you.
00:59:26Congratulations. You're a good hand.
00:59:28Good hand.
00:59:38Double.
00:59:40I knew,
00:59:42but I had to try.
00:59:52He was great.
00:59:54Yeah, he's got a great voice.
00:59:56Cool look, the whole thing.
00:59:58I mean, I didn't take too much of it,
01:00:00trying not to mess up his audition.
01:00:02Trying not to mess up his audition, yeah.
01:00:04I love that you're like,
01:00:06oh, Danny's back there.
01:00:08Now we've got
01:00:10young pop rock,
01:00:12which is great. I want my rock guy.
01:00:14I need that, like, gritty guy. You guys have
01:00:16a couple now, so hopefully I can
01:00:18steal one from you.
01:00:20Good job, boys.
01:00:22Yeah.
01:00:24So, Tom, can I
01:00:26ask you a question? Yeah. One of my
01:00:28inspirations is Kelly Jones from the Stereophonics.
01:00:30Yeah. You've worked with them before, right?
01:00:32Yeah. The first thing we did was
01:00:34Mama Told Me Not To Come.
01:00:36Which was the Reload album
01:00:38that I did in 2000.
01:00:40And we did it in the studio, but live.
01:00:42And Kelly's looking at me, I'm playing,
01:00:44and he's looking like... So afterwards I said,
01:00:46OK. He said, I was thinking to myself,
01:00:48I'm singing with Tom
01:00:50and Joe.
01:00:52It was tremendous.
01:00:54Well, as...
01:00:58Have you ever done it? No.
01:01:00I would love to.
01:01:02I mean, we'd be privileged, wouldn't we, Tom?
01:01:04It'd be amazing to jam with you.
01:01:06Do we have time?
01:01:10Can we get some guitars?
01:01:12Get some guitars?
01:01:14Oh, yeah.
01:01:16One, one, one, one, one.
01:01:18Hey!
01:01:20Yeah!
01:01:22LAUGHTER
01:01:24All right,
01:01:26shall we see what happens? Yeah, are we ready?
01:01:28Yeah.
01:01:30CHEERING
01:01:32APPLAUSE
01:01:38Want some whiskey in your water
01:01:40Sugar in your tea
01:01:42What's all this crazy question
01:01:44Who's asking me
01:01:46This is the craziest party
01:01:48There could ever be
01:01:50Don't turn on the lights
01:01:52Cos I don't want to see
01:01:54Mama told me not to come
01:01:58Mama told me not to come
01:02:00She said
01:02:02There ain't no way to have fun
01:02:04Son
01:02:06Hey!
01:02:08Go on, Danny.
01:02:10Open up the window
01:02:12Let's get married two days through
01:02:14I've been choking on
01:02:16The smell of stale perfume
01:02:18And the cigarette you smoke
01:02:20Has scared me half to death
01:02:22Open up the window
01:02:24Let me catch my breath
01:02:26Mama told me not to come
01:02:30Mama told me not to come
01:02:32She said
01:02:34There ain't no way to have fun

01:02:42CHEERING
01:02:44APPLAUSE
01:02:58The radio's blasting

01:03:02Knock, knock, knock, knock
01:03:04Looking at my girlfriend
01:03:06She just passed out on the floor
01:03:08I've seen so many things
01:03:10I ain't never seen before
01:03:12I've seen so many things
01:03:14But I don't want to see no more
01:03:16Mama told me not to come
01:03:18Mama told me not to come
01:03:20Mama told me
01:03:22She said

01:03:44There ain't no way to have fun
01:03:46Mama told me
01:03:48Mama told me
01:03:50Mama told me
01:03:52Mama told me not to come
01:03:54Mama told me not to come
01:03:56There ain't no way to have fun
01:03:58There ain't no way to have fun
01:04:00There ain't no way to have fun
01:04:02There ain't no way to have fun
01:04:04There ain't no way to have fun
01:04:06There ain't no way to have fun
01:04:08Wow, maybe you should have listened...
01:04:10That's fantastic!
01:04:12Wow!
01:04:14Yeah!
01:04:16Oh!
01:04:18Ooh!
01:04:20Ooh!
01:04:22Ooh!
01:04:24Ooh!
01:04:26Oh!
01:04:28Oh!
01:04:30Oh!
01:04:32Oh!
01:04:34Oh!
01:04:47I don't think you have to leave
01:04:50If the change is what you need
01:04:53Ladies and gentlemen in the audience, this is our final performance today.
01:04:56Okay, the last one.
01:04:59I wanna hear Wilson pick it.
01:05:02With the Franklin.
01:05:03Sam and Dave.
01:05:05Kick it.
01:05:07Couple of deep breaths.
01:05:10Tom, did you work with Aretha?
01:05:12Yeah, she did when I had a TV show.
01:05:14Years ago she came on there.
01:05:16How was that? How was that working with her?
01:05:17Great.
01:05:18To sing with her, you know, when we were rehearsing.
01:05:21The volume, you know, the projection.
01:05:23And then as soon as she stopped singing, she was so quiet.
01:05:27Oh really?
01:05:28She didn't, she hardly spoke.
01:05:30Timid. Interesting.
01:05:31Yeah, really.
01:05:33I mean, that's the complete opposite of what I would have thought.
01:05:35Yeah, no.
01:05:36But lovely though, you know.
01:05:38Tremendous voice.
01:05:39Oh my god. Ridiculous.
01:05:40Yeah.
01:05:41We love you Tom!
01:05:50My name's Ace, I'm 20 years old and I'm a bar manager in Oxford.
01:05:58Ready.
01:06:03Being a bar manager takes a lot.
01:06:05I'm either in the office doing admin, behind the bar making drinks, pouring pints.
01:06:10There's a million different things I have to do all the time.
01:06:15It's quite exciting.
01:06:18I was born and raised in Vietnam.
01:06:21Had such a unique childhood.
01:06:23Blue beaches with white sand and hot sun beaming down on you.
01:06:30When I was a kid, I knew from the get-go.
01:06:32I wasn't quite supposed to be in the form that I was given.
01:06:38I was never meant to be a boy or a man.
01:06:41I always knew that I was trans.
01:06:46I had an imaginary friend.
01:06:48She was ultra feminine, confident, didn't care about what others thought of her.
01:06:54She was everything I wanted to be.
01:06:57And when I moved to the UK, she was who I had sort of become in my transition.
01:07:06It feels amazing to be sitting here as my full self without anything holding me back
01:07:13and just be able to share what I love, which is music.
01:07:19When you're little, when you're off stage, you keep to yourself to yourself
01:07:24and you're reserved and you're quiet.
01:07:26But when you're on stage, you're a different person and you always have been.
01:07:30Ace experienced a lot of things that someone her age probably shouldn't have had to go through.
01:07:35But she's done it and she's come out stronger.
01:07:38And I am so proud of the young woman that she's become.
01:07:41She's strong, she's bubbly, she's energetic, she's powerful and she's driven.
01:07:47And she's great.
01:07:50The song I'm singing is such a big, powerful song.
01:07:55It's a lot of pressure.
01:07:58How are you feeling?
01:08:00Nervous.
01:08:01But this is such an amazing opportunity.
01:08:04And I just want to make everyone in my life proud.
01:08:19There she is, there she is.
01:08:50I like this vibe.
01:09:09Oh, wow.
01:09:19Wow.
01:09:45Go, baby!
01:09:50Make some noise.
01:10:10Come on, Tom. Come on.
01:10:20Yeah!
01:10:29Go for it! Go for it!
01:10:45She's amazing.
01:10:47Go, baby.
01:10:49Hi.
01:10:50Hi.
01:10:51What's your name?
01:10:52Ace.
01:10:53Ace.
01:10:54That was Ace.
01:10:57I really have to pinch myself.
01:10:59I can't believe I'm stood in front of all five of you right now.
01:11:03Where are you from?
01:11:04I was originally born in Vietnam.
01:11:06And I moved to the UK four years ago.
01:11:09Now I live in Oxford.
01:11:11I mean, your style is amazing.
01:11:13Like, when I turned around, I was like, oh, yeah.
01:11:15Like, just a beautiful, beautiful young woman.
01:11:18I loved the dynamics of your vocals.
01:11:21I felt you.
01:11:22You are truly magical.
01:11:24You took me on a ride.
01:11:25I'm like that.
01:11:26And I can hear the youth in your voice.
01:11:28But there's also this kind of old soul to you, too.
01:11:31It's a beautiful blend.
01:11:33Yeah, stunning.
01:11:42One of the things that I liked about it,
01:11:44you didn't try to sing it like Aretha Franklin.
01:11:47Yeah.
01:11:48You came through there.
01:11:49It was refreshing.
01:11:51And I loved it.
01:11:53Thank you so much.
01:11:54You did a wonderful job.
01:11:55Thank you so much.
01:11:59I think we're in the presence of something really special.
01:12:02Artists and singers, at the top of their game,
01:12:06carry their talent in such an endearing way.
01:12:08You feel like you've got special aura around you,
01:12:11which is incredible.
01:12:12You even stand well.
01:12:14Yeah.
01:12:16I'm on national television now.
01:12:18I can't be hunched my back.
01:12:19I can't be nauseous.
01:12:20You've got to strike the moment.
01:12:28I know that Tom said you stand well.
01:12:31How do we sit?
01:12:33Yeah.
01:12:37Like a boss.
01:12:41I would say, personally.
01:12:45You're the type of singer, if you were on my team,
01:12:49and I didn't have anyone else on my team,
01:12:53I would feel like I don't need anybody else on my team.
01:12:58Because you're amazing.
01:12:59Yeah.
01:13:00I wouldn't have had a songbird if you was on my team.
01:13:11When you get someone like you, who is an undeniable talent,
01:13:15you have to turn,
01:13:16and we would absolutely be honoured to have you on our team
01:13:20and do everything that we could
01:13:22to support your incredible, unique gift of a voice.
01:13:31I think the biggest question is,
01:13:33what kind of artist do you want to be?
01:13:35We aren't here to turn you into anything that you're not.
01:13:38You're here to tell us, this is where I want to head,
01:13:42and we're here to push you out of your comfort zone.
01:13:45Like Satnav.
01:13:46Like what?
01:13:47What's Satnav?
01:13:48What's Satnav?
01:13:49Type in your destination, we'll take you.
01:13:51Exactly.
01:13:53Oh, GPS.
01:13:55I like that.
01:13:56I like it, I like it.
01:13:58I'm looking at a star.
01:14:00You just need some guidance, and I would love to be that for you.
01:14:10Well, I don't have anybody like you on my team,
01:14:12and I would just love for you to come with me.
01:14:15I think I can get songs for you,
01:14:17I think I can get the best out of you, honestly.
01:14:20And I'm not just blowing my own trumpet,
01:14:22I mean, I feel what you do.
01:14:24You're a great singer, and I would love to have you with me.
01:14:32Oh, Lord, I actually have to make a decision.
01:14:34Yeah.
01:14:46Which I'm going to pick is...
01:14:54Tom.
01:15:08You're going to be great.
01:15:10Don't worry about a thing.
01:15:12Your hair is freaking amazing.
01:15:27Well done.
01:15:28Well done, Tom Allen.
01:15:30Well done.
01:15:33Oh, my God.
01:15:44I knew it from the jump.
01:15:45She kept on looking at you.
01:15:47Yeah, she was hammered.
01:15:48She was like...
01:15:49She was in it.
01:15:50Really?
01:15:51She's sassy, she's got...
01:15:52Very.
01:15:53She's got that thing.
01:15:54She's got that thing.
01:15:55Make some noise for the legend, Tom Jones.
01:16:04Did you guys have fun?
01:16:05Yeah.
01:16:26I love you.
