00:00And the team that checks in at number three in the AP top 25
00:06and with the second best place to win the Big Ten title. That's
00:10the newcomers from Eugene, Dan Lanning, and the Ducks. Oregon
00:13at a two to one number. Oregon also a hefty favorite today,
00:17Joe, in their opener against FCS Faux in Idaho. A Vandals team
00:22that has made the FCS postseason each of the past two
00:25years but a forty-four and a half point underdog today
00:27inside Autzen Stadium. It's Oregon's debut as a Big Ten
00:32program. How does it look today for the Ducks? Well, I think
00:34there's no doubt Oregon wins. They dominate Idaho straight up
00:38fifty-two, three, and four in regards to the meetings. They
00:41have a twenty-three game winning streak against the Vandals and
00:44they have a new quarterback in Dylan Gabriel that transfers in
00:47thirty touchdowns, six interceptions, and an offense
00:50that averaged 184 rushing yards per game. I think there's no
00:54doubt they win. I would lean to the cover in this matchup and
00:57that they go over the total cap. Biggest thing for me too is
01:00that nobody talks about it. We talk about Bo Nixon's
01:03progression last year. That offensive line only allowed
01:06five total sacks. Yeah. The dominant union, if they run the
01:09football today, it's gonna be lights out. My take on this
01:12game is simple. I I know some people will be upset about it.
01:15Good riddance to the Pac-12. When I saw that this game was on
01:18Big Ten Network, I was out of this world excited. I actually
01:21get to watch this game. Yeah. Instead of not being able to
01:24watch top teams in the country like Oregon, like USC, this is
01:29absolutely wonderful. I know realignment has people scared.
01:33Yeah. I get it but in this instance alone, what a blessing
01:36that we can watch this game. The Ducks, the second best
01:38scoring offense in the country last year averaging better than
01:4144 points per game. Second best total offense put up more than
01:45531 yards. Dylan Gabriel, the new quarterback is the Heisman
01:49Trophy favorite entering 2024.
