00:00Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris only recently took over for Joe Biden,
00:05but she is already coming out swinging. The vice president was recently at a rally in Georgia,
00:10where she continued to build momentum in front of a reinvigorated group of voters.
00:15So the momentum in this race is shifting.
00:20And there are signs that Donald Trump is feeling it.
00:23Since Harris took over for Biden, the enthusiasm within the Democratic Party has soared,
00:28bringing in some $200 million and signing around 170,000 volunteers.
00:34Meanwhile, the Trump campaign is less enthused, with Speaker Mike Johnson and other Republicans
00:39suggesting legal action to keep Biden heading the ticket rather than Harris. Experts agree
00:44that there is no legal basis for the Republican Party to effectively choose the Democratic nominee.
00:49Still, Donald Trump seems poised to disrupt the election in any way he can,
00:53teasing that he had changed his mind about debating his opponent.
00:56Once the opponent had changed, even his campaign recently released a statement saying it would be
01:02inappropriate to schedule things with Harris because Democrats very well could still change
01:06their minds. The former president has since conceded, saying he will probably end up
01:11debating Harris, which is why Harris recently echoed her Trump taunts in Georgia.
01:16Because as the saying goes, if you've got something to say.
