As ever it has been a busy week in the city of bristol from a major fire at a bristol hospital to the closure of a historic bristol social club. But what are the top stories?

00:00So as ever, it has been a busy week in the city of Bristol. So Charlie, can you tell

00:05me what is the first top story in the city this week?

00:09So our top story this week, and starting with some good news, is that a pub has announced

00:16it is set to reopen later this year. And this is part of nationwide plans by Heineken. So

00:23much to the excitement of locals, it's the Rose of Denmark pub in Hotwells, which is

00:30set to open this summer, I believe, and is part of plans by Heineken to reopen 62 pubs

00:39in total across the UK.

00:42So that is an exciting one for a business in the city. So let's move on to our second

00:48top story. Tell me a little bit about that.

00:51I can. So a change of tone now, and it's that one of Bristol's longest running and perhaps

00:58most iconic nightclubs has announced its closure with immediate effect. So Dojo on Park Row

01:06has made the surprise announcement after 25 years in business, entertaining locals. So

01:14the club opened in 1999, you know, and it's become well known across that time.

01:21So shall we move on to our final top story? We have had local elections. So tell me a

01:26little bit about that.

01:27Yes. So looking at the result in Bristol, and the Greens have stormed to a victory on

01:35the council, but fell just short of an overall majority. So the party has ended up with 34

01:44councillors, just too shy of the 36 needed to be a majority and bigger than all other

01:51parties on the council. But they are now the largest party in Bristol.
