00:00Do you think Democrats should be working to see if they can repeal it?
00:14It has been very clear from the very beginning that House Republicans want a national abortion
00:19ban.
00:21They have had individuals in Congress who continue to support that.
00:26Over a hundred Republicans have supported that life at conception bill that would do
00:31away with IBF, that would ensure and pave the way for a national abortion ban.
00:39Reproductive care and women's health and abortion is absolutely an issue that concerns us.
00:47It scares us what a future president could do.
00:51This has been something that has been toiling around in the prior Trump administration for
00:57years and I think we believe them when they say they want a national abortion ban.
01:04And how they get there, we don't know.
01:09But it's clear that that is the focus of House Republicans, that is the focus of former President
01:14Trump and that is what the Republican Party stands for today, unfortunately.
01:21And so we want to ensure abortion care, we want to ensure women's reproductive health
01:26and abortion as health care.
01:28That is what we stand for and we're willing to have that discussion as we make our way
01:33to November.
01:36Donald Trump campaigned on overturning Roe versus Wade.
01:40He then bragged about overturning Roe versus Wade.
01:43And Republicans now want to put in a national abortion ban.
01:47Democrats want to codify Roe versus Wade.
01:51The two parties are not the same.
