00:00 We've gone from absolute elation, busting out with smiles, to the realisation,
00:07 and yeah, to the other part of the spectrum it's been quite tearful.
00:12 I'm not afraid to admit it, you know, this has been six months of hard graft,
00:17 you know, not just by me, but from the rest of the team, by the community.
00:22 You know, we've got Marco Longhi, we've got Sir Gavin Williamson, Safe South Council,
00:26 you know, they've all been working extremely hard and this is the accumulation of all that work,
00:31 and it's almost like a relief that we've actually got what we wanted and what we set out to do.
00:36 If you've been there, it just captures you.
00:39 The pub itself, the way that it's unique, it just gets to you.
00:45 You know, driving down the lane, turning the corner, seeing the building poking out of this weird slant,
00:53 and coming in and just becoming completely dazed and dizzy just by walking to a building.
00:58 There's no other building like it anywhere, it's completely unique.
01:02 And obviously, seeing the scenes of the fire that hit home,
01:08 seeing the scenes the next day of a burnt out shell, there was hope.
01:13 Then seeing that clips of the bulldozer just completely randomly tearing at it, that was devastation.
01:19 And that was the point where something needed to be done.
01:22 Not only myself, but the few of us stood up and said, "Right, we can't let this happen."
01:27 And the community backed us 100%.
01:29 Because it was part of our heritage, it was part of us.
01:33 We all had a little bit of the crooked house within us.
