00:06 in Hoban, central London to try out the UK's first ever Doner breakfast meal.
00:13 Those that know me will know I am quite partial to a kebab, sometimes not even when I'm drunk at
00:19 the end of the night. I do occasionally have them sober but I have never had one for breakfast before
00:25 so this is going to be a new experience and I'll see if it's something you might want to pick up
00:30 in the future or perhaps if it's just a bit too much. Okay we've got the chicken doner rioche bun
00:38 here with quite a healthy amount of doner meat, some cheese and I believe yeah there's an egg
00:45 in there as well so let's see how it tastes. Doner is actually really nice and quite smoky,
00:58 not the sandwich you get at your usual kebab shop I must say
01:02 and it goes strangely well with the egg. I'm not so sure about the addition of the cheese,
01:08 it's quite it's quite nice, not something I would get every day for breakfast but
01:15 it's pretty nice actually. So here I've got the big breakfast wrap that has got some
01:21 chicken doner meat inside, decided not to go with the beef, it's got hash browns in as well,
01:27 we've also got some of these little hash brown bites here, it's very nice and it's got egg as
01:33 well so let's see how this goes down. This I guess is more like your kind of traditional kebab
01:44 because there is a bit of doner here but it's mainly egg and tomato which makes it quite
01:48 refreshing although I'll be honest even the way it's wrapped up I still can't you know
01:53 get the taste of a kind of late night kebab out of my head.
01:57 So I've finished the wrap, finished the rioche bun, I think my personal favourite there was the
02:07 rioche bun with the chicken doner meat and the egg. It actually went together surprisingly well,
02:14 the doner meat here is pretty high quality, definitely much nicer than the kind of kebab
02:20 you get at your local kebab shop down the road and yeah I thought it went quite well for breakfast,
02:27 it's not something I'm going to get every day for breakfast, probably something I prefer to get maybe
02:32 like I was saying earlier at the end of a night out or after a few pints, I might get it again
