Transcript
00:00 In the beginning of 2024, a woman from Binangon, Rizal,
00:06 who joined our program, her hospital bill reached more than P400,000.
00:14 Let's watch her story.
00:17 A month ago, Bia Elise Aran, a one-year-old girl confined in the Philippine Heart Center,
00:24 told her father, Brian Lawrence, that his daughter was diagnosed with a hole and a heart problem
00:30 when she was only seven days old.
00:33 My daughter was born with a hole in her heart.
00:38 She only had surgery a year ago because her oxygen supply to her body was a problem.
00:47 She added that they brought her to the hospital three times because her oxygen supply to her body was a problem.
00:55 Her oxygen supply to her body was a problem, so she was sent to the heart center for a cardiac arrest.
01:04 If she was attacked by a death spell or her oxygen supply to her body was a problem,
01:11 her brain would be damaged.
01:13 Because of her condition, they brought her to the Philippine Heart Center.
01:20 According to the doctor in the Philippine Heart Center,
01:23 the only way for her to fully recover from her illness is through surgery.
01:29 They also need to prepare P700,000 for this.
01:34 But their biggest problem is that they cannot afford to buy a big car.
01:39 Because only a tricycle can cover her expenses.
01:45 Meanwhile, she has a house and she's the one who takes care of her child.
01:50 While they were collecting the guarantee letter, their child's oxygen supply was lost again.
01:56 The reason is that they want to bring their little angel to the PHC.
02:01 Because of this, their doctor decided to put Baby Bia Elise under emergency operation.
02:07 That's why the doctor decided to put her under emergency operation.
02:12 I'm asking for help from you.
02:15 Now, they have to pay more than P400,000 for the hospital.
02:21 That's why she's asking for help from the Ph.D. and the work so that they can leave the hospital.
02:27 She's in the hospital right now.
02:30 We are short of money for the hospital. That's why I'm asking for help.
