A local woman died after being stabbed several times in the front and back by a man in broad daylight at Jalan Bayu Tinggi 5, Taman Chi Liung, in Klang on Monday (Dec 18) afternoon.  South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Cha Hoong Fong said the 44-year-old suspect, who has no previous criminal record, has been remanded for seven days until Dec 25 for investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code. 00:17 received a report at 2.17pm from a woman who reported that a man stabbed the victim, then

00:24 placed her in the car before driving off.

00:27 Both the assailant and the victim are said to be Malaysians.

00:32 Police investigations found that at 1.20pm on Tuesday, the 26-year-old victim met the

00:37 suspect at the restaurant around Jalan Bayu Tinggi 6 and after eating, both went to the

00:43 car park at Jalan Bayu Tinggi 5 before she was stabbed several times.

00:49 ACP Cha said the suspect then drove to his house at Jalan Sungai Nipong 5, Kapar, and

00:56 upon arrival, he tried to revive the victim but couldn't.

01:00 Bernama reported that the suspect then stabbed himself with likely the same knife before

01:06 police arrived at the location at 4.20pm to arrest him.

01:17 at the scene confirmed that she had died.

01:39 He said an autopsy conducted on Tuesday found that the victim's body had multiple stab wounds

01:45 and the cause of death was due to a stab in the chest that penetrated the heart.
