00:09 The WRX has been a performance car for Subaru and it's been about five years in the markets
00:19 with this new generation. So what that means is that Subaru is rolling out these special
00:23 series models like this Series White or like the Type RA or the S209 with some tiny bit that
00:29 will create a little more push for the car before it goes out. They are both limited to 500 units
00:36 each and besides coming with this beautiful white ceramic exterior paint, they also come with the
00:42 bronze wheels 19 inch for the STI and 18 inch for the WRX. They also both come with the Bill St. Dan
00:48 purse and the Brembo brakes, but the STI is the only one that gets a Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2
00:54 tires. For the interior you can only get the six-speed manual and besides that what's special
00:58 about this model is a suede and leather Recaro seats which are exclusive to the Series White.
01:04 Honestly there's nothing else that's new here. You still get the infotainment screen with Apple
01:08 CarPlay, Android Auto and everything else that you would get on a WRX. Performance-wise everything's
01:14 still the same. The WRX still produces 268 horsepower out of its 2.0 liter turbo engine
01:20 and the STI still produces 310 horsepower out of its 2.5 liter turbo. We just finished testing both
01:27 models and we found out that the WRX is still a little bit faster than the STI on the 0-60 run,
01:33 but the STI catches up on the quarter mile.
