This is where we shine the spotlight on one of our favorite creators, Krystal Bick (@krystal_bick). This NYC-based writer and travel enthusiast shared with us a recap of her most unexpected adventure to date, which all began with a trip to HomeGoods.

… Something catches Krystal's eye as she walks down the aisle—a ceramic serving dish, but it's made in… Italy? She's suddenly transported to the Italian coast, with visions of lemon groves, local cuisine, and a new world to explore.

Watch as Krystal's fantasy transforms into her next big expedition, allowing her HomeGoods experience to lead her to discover new places, meet new people, and learn about the unique heritage of one of her favorite countries.

00:03 Finding this Italian lemon grove
00:10 was an adventure I'll never forget.
00:12 Where do I begin?
00:14 It was one of those rare days
00:17 where my schedule was unscheduled.
00:20 So it was really nice.
00:23 So I decided to take a trip
00:25 to one of my favorite places, Home Goods.
00:28 I never know what I'm gonna come across.
00:30 Like this stunning collection of European finds.
00:33 Wow, solid olive wood.
00:35 Look at the detail and the color.
00:37 But then, something else caught my eye.
00:40 What was this woven ceramic beauty doing here?
00:43 And at an unbelievably magnificent price, too.
00:47 Made in Italy.
00:48 I can almost smell the citrus, hear the waves,
00:52 see the colorful villages
00:54 and narrow streets of the Amalfi Coast.
00:56 Well, now that I'm free, when's the next flight to Italy?
01:01 What was my perfect day while traveling the Amalfi Coast?
01:12 Where do I go first?
01:14 Well, this looks like a fun place to start.
01:18 Oh, look at that.
01:24 (upbeat music)
01:27 Everyone, wave.
01:29 I've never seen Positano like this before.
01:35 After that amazing boat ride,
01:41 I knew I had to taste and experience
01:43 something that included the region's famous lemons.
01:46 So I found my way to meet a seventh generation family
01:49 of lemon growers in Amalfi.
01:51 (speaking in foreign language)
01:53 So you have both the fifth, the sixth,
01:55 and me, I have the honor to be the seventh generation
01:58 of our family.
01:59 (speaking in foreign language)
02:01 We grow this lemon like a baby in a cradle.
02:03 Oh, I love that.
02:04 You give it love.
02:06 I'd love just to hear a little bit more from all of you
02:09 about what it means to make something handmade in Italy.
02:12 There must be a great sense of pride, I would imagine,
02:15 that comes from that.
02:16 Of course, we keep all of the original system of cultivation
02:19 for the lemons as they did hundreds of years ago,
02:21 which is difficult to replicate everywhere else in the world.
02:24 And to pass our energy and our passion,
02:27 because without the passion, we can't do this.
02:30 (speaking in foreign language)
02:35 You can just grab a lemon and you can eat it just like that.
02:38 I know it's strange for people,
02:39 but this one, the skin, is the best part.
02:41 So you can just bite it just like an apple,
02:44 and it's really amazing.
02:45 (upbeat music)
02:50 (speaking in foreign language)
02:54 That was absolutely divine.
03:00 Okay, now I'm ready for something sweet.
03:20 Not a bad way to spend a little free time.
03:22 This stunning ceramic dish from HomeGoods
03:27 sparked an adventure of a lifetime on the Italian coast.
03:30 Imagine what other adventures are out there
03:33 just waiting to be found.
03:35 Feed your wanderlust with incredible global finds
03:40 and a world of savings.
