01:44 We all have to make compromises

01:47 and try to figure out personality conflicts.

01:49 So, beige flag, they're out in space.

01:55 Being clean, landing clean, clean lines.

01:59 CEO. I am a CEO, so I want to be in.

02:03 But there are plenty of CEOs that should be out.

02:17 that are just angry and living a life of strife

02:23 I'm not into the low-key, high-key thing,

02:26 so I'm going to say out.

02:27 That's just my age, though.

02:28 My kids say low-key.

02:29 They don't really say high-key.

02:30 When they say it, it doesn't have much context.

02:32 It's like, "That kid's low-key good."

02:34 He is good.

02:35 No one is denying that he's good.

02:37 It's not hidden that he's good.

02:38 I'm relating it to skateboarding.

02:41 It's like people saying literal when they...

02:43 Yes, it's literal.

02:44 You don't get to use...

02:46 You know what I mean?

02:47 It's just lost its meaning.

02:49 I'm going to go high-key is out of here.

03:15 which I am guilty of both.

03:17 Slamming means you committed to the trick,

03:18 but you shouldn't have.

03:23 Grinding. Grinding is in.

03:25 Grinding is always in.

03:26 Literal grinding, like your truck on ledges or coping,

03:30 and grinding in terms of working,

03:32 hustling, making it happen.

03:34 Empty swimming pools are in.

03:36 Sometimes I should be out of them

03:38 because I've gotten some of my worst injuries in them,

03:41 but it's part of my culture.

03:43 It's part of my DNA.

03:44 I've got to get in there.

03:45 Last time I skated a backyard pool,

03:46 I dislocated these two fingers.

03:49 Heights. Heights are in.

03:52 I skate. I want to go high, for sure.

03:56 Laser flip.

03:57 I wish laser flips were in,

03:58 but I can't do them, so they're out.

04:01 That ship has sailed for me.

04:03 Colored grip tape.

04:04 Colored grip tape is in.

04:06 It's making a comeback.

04:07 We're a straight '80s here.

04:09 I always use black grip tape,

04:10 but I like seeing all the flair,

04:13 the pink and whatnot.

04:15 Puka shell necklaces?

04:16 I feel like that was a thing of the '70s.

04:18 Are they in? Why not?

04:22 I don't know.

04:23 Do people even wear them anymore?

04:24 I grew up in suburban San Diego,

04:27 and if you came to class with a puka shell necklace,

04:30 it was the sign that you got to visit Hawaii.

04:33 If you came and you didn't visit Hawaii,

04:35 you were such a poser.

04:36 If you also came to class with a poncho on,

04:39 that means you visited Tijuana.

04:40 Those were the two ways to brag

04:43 or to flex about your vacations.

04:46 Watches.

04:47 Watches are in.

04:48 I'm a fan of watches.

04:49 I have quite a collection, so...

04:51 I know you can check your time on the phone,

04:53 but there's something to be said

04:54 for a classic timepiece on your wrist.
