00:20 It has been three weeks since the flood hit Doña Damiana de León Macam Memorial Elementary School in Calumpit, Bulacan.
00:27 But the teachers, parents and students who were in the school brigade still tried to help.
00:31 The walls were smashed, tables and chairs were swept away,
00:34 books and other items were picked up from the classroom,
00:37 cartilages were carried and boats were also carried.
00:41 These are the books that were washed.
00:43 They are not being washed anymore because they are already wet and smelly.
00:48 And the modules and other materials that were washed are here.
00:55 Look, this is really not going to be used anymore because the modules are already smashed.
01:00 The Department of Education and DepEd said that they have buffer stocks of small books
01:08 that the Bulacan School Division Office is asking for when its inventory is finished
01:13 for the needs of the damaged schools there.
01:16 For the modules, Bulacan has already received an emergency procurement and will be delivered on Friday.
01:21 Students can still have blended learning in the schools that are still flooded.
01:26 That's why Teacher Evelyn is already arranging the modules that will be distributed on Tuesday.
