About story
Bhishma Sahini's story "Gulel Baaz Boy", is the story of a boy who is very fearless and ruthless. He takes great pleasure in killing insects and destroying birds and their nests. He always has a slingshot with him, for that he keeps vandalizing all day long, but one day when this boy sees two children of Maina screaming and making noise in their nest due to the fear of an eagle, he collides with the eagle to save those children, and keeps those children away from the eagle in a safe place where the eagle cannot reach. From that day onwards a positive change starts taking place in him and the same child now becomes the protector of Maina's children.

Bhishm Sahini is well known writer in Indian literature. Born 8August pawalpindi punjab . His epic work novel Tamas won the 1975 Sahitya Akademi Award for literature and was made television film in 1987 by Govind Nihalani.
