Nelson Mandela’s family in Toxteth to launch memorial - LiverpoolWorld Headlines

A memorial to Nelson Mandela has been unveiled in Liverpool in the form of an open air classroom on an island - in recognition of the great man's 18-year incarceration on Robben Island and his love for gardening and education. The scheme, devised by local charity Mandela 8 will include a new 'Freedom Bridge'.
