Janice Starlin ist seit 16 Jahren die Chefin einer Kosmetikfirma, doch auch sie ist älter geworden, was ihr gar nicht gefällt. Der Wissenschaftler Dr. Zinthorp hat ein Serum aus dem Gelee Royal der Wespenköniginnen entwickelt, welches nicht nur den Alterungsprozess aufhält, sondern ihn auch umkehren kann. Dieser Extrakt wurde bisher nur an Tieren getestet, doch Janice injiziert sich das Serum. Das Mittel wirkt wie ein Wunder, sie sieht wieder aus wie 20, doch das Wundermittel hat auch Nebenwirkungen. Sie verwandelt sich zeitweise in eine riesige, tödliche Wespenkönigin und das grauenhafte Schicksal nimmt seinen Lauf…
