Franco Harris Describes The Immaculate Reception

The play was voted No. 1 in the first 100 years of the NFL. It capped the Pittsburgh Steelers' stunning win against the Oakland Raiders in an AFC divisional playoff game on December 23, 1972. Harris went on to become a four-time Super Bowl champion and a Pro Football Hall of Famer. He was MVP of Super Bowl IX as he rushed for 158 yards to help the Steelers beat Minnesota for their first title. When Harris retired in 1984, he ranked third in the NFL in career rushing yards, behind Walter Payton and Jim Brown.
