Sebastian Hardie - album Four moments 1975
  • anno scorso
Sebastian Hardie came from Sydney, Australia and were the most important symphonic progressive band of the times from the Land from Down Under. The band formed in 1967 as Sebastian Hardie Blues Band but soon dropped the "Blues Band" when they decided to become a pop-oriented band. The debut album "Four moments" released in 1975 was probabily conceived on the wave of enthusiasm after listening to "Tubular bells" and the UK groups like Camel, Caravan and Yes. The album is mostly instrumental, Mellotron, Moog, piano, organ and guitar dominated with the long title-track divided in four sections, with some grandiose musical parts alternated to simple, undramatic melodies with cosmic lyrics.

Mario Millo - guitar, mandolin, vocals.
Toivo Pilt - Moog synthesizer, Mellotron, piano, organ.
Peter Plavsic - bass.
Alex Plavsic - drums, percussion.
