Location: Speke Resort and Conference Centre in Munyonyo, Kampala, Uganda

The Liberals and Democrats for Europe, the Pacific, African and the Caribbean, ALDEPAC, are organising their annual conference in Kampala, on 20 - 22 February 2009, thus bringing together African parliamentarians from 22 different African states, and Liberal and Democrat Members of the European Parliament.

The conference will benefit from a welcome address by H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, and the closing address of European Commissioner Louis Michel. Further senior speakers are Lord Alderdice, President of Liberal International and Kiwamuka Ssekandi, Speaker of Parliament Uganda joined by many leading African and European politicians.
