Allah (God) forgives whoever he thinks to do so. Whether your great sinner or normal person. It is upto Allah, if he like one of your karma, he may forgive you for life.

Imam (Maulavi) allows him to enter in mosque, make him perform vudhu (clenaing procedure of several part of body before Salah (Namaz or Prayer) and make him prayer (Salah or namaz). allah forgives him and takes his life during salah or prayer and send him to heaven.
