Reshma and her family walked 800 km from Chandigarh to their village in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao in 2020 after PM Narendra Modi announced a lockdown due to COVID. It took them 10 days to get home. In the middle of the long walk, her 50-year-old father fell sick, and died a few weeks later. Two years since his death, the family is under debt.
