'In a video that is guaranteed to take your breath away, hundreds, if not thousands, of floating lanterns can be seen illuminating the stunning night sky in Dallas, Texas.
This fascinating footage was taken by Geena Yum
at the "Night Lights" event staged at Texas Motorplex on October 3, 2021.
"During the Lantern Festival, we can make a wish and hope for it to come true by sending off a lantern into the sky," Geena wrote. "It was the MOST beautiful, breathtaking sight I have ever seen. More beautiful than fireworks and such a magical moment. Pictures & videos don’t do it justice."
The spectacular event in question was inspired by the traditional Thai Lantern Festival.
