Govt only wants to pass anti-people laws: Congress MP KC Venugopal

Speaking to reporters during the protest staged by Opposition parties at Vijay Chowk on Thursday, Congress general secretary KC Venugopal said the monsoon session of Parliament showed that the government was unwilling to give answers when questioned.
"What happened in the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha yesterday is unprecedented. We're agitating for a discussion but the government is not ready to discuss. They only want to pass their government business, they want to pass anti-people laws," said Venugopal.
