Arrests as COVID-sceptics rally against vaccines in Melbourne

Hundreds of coronavirus-sceptics took to the streets of Melbourne to demonstrate against the vaccine rollout they understood as mandatory.
A large number of police officers apprehended a demonstrator in the middle of the street, restraining him on the floor and scattering the crowds threatening to use pepper spray against them.
Protesters held various signs with messages such as "Experiment or vaccine?" as they chanted slogans saying "We will not comply."
Independent Member of Parliament in Victoria Catherine Cumming was booed by the audience during her intervention on stage at Fawkner Park when she suggested maintaining social distancing during the protest.
"I am pro-vaccine, but I am also pro-medical consent," she stated before a spontaneous protester came on stage interrupting the speech while the audience was booing the speaker.
The "Anti-vaxxers" have joined protests across the nation as Australia prepares to begin its coronavirus vaccine rollout on Monday.
