The also highly economical Golf GTE has been designed for extremely sporty performance. Here, the powertrain provides a system power of 180 kW (245 PS) – the fusion of electric drive motor and TSI therefore achieves the same power level as the current Golf GTI. The Golf GTE can be driven by purely electric power for up to 62 kilometres with an energy consumption of 12.4 kWh. Combined range: 745 kilometres (all three GTE values also NEDC).
