Snake crawls out of policeman's motorbike as he rides home

A policeman was terrified after a snake emerged from his motorbike while he was riding home.

Police Sub-Lieutenant Phumin Phetnoi was on the highway after he finished his shift in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 30.

A small python then poked its head up from the windshield. It is believed to have been sheltering in the bike after heavy rain hit the area.

The cop is heard in the video saying ''Oh, what, how could you get here?''

Phumin pulled over and batted away the snake, which disappeared in the grass verge next to the road.

He said: ''I don't think the snake was hurt. It just left quietly and it was too small to hurt anyone.''
