South Korea's consumer sentiment rose for a fourth consecutive month in March.
According to the Bank of Korea's survey released on Wednesday, the composite consumer sentiment index was at 99-point-8...up 0-point-3 points from the previous month.
A reading below 100 indicates there are more pessimists than optimists about the economy.
The central bank attributed the rise to more households expecting better living standards due to the higher minimum wage.
The minimum wage in Korea was increased by just under 11 percent this year.
