Haryana election results: BJP inching towards majority

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which fought the electoral battle for the first time on its own in Haryana, was on Sunday leading over its rivals Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Congress. The BJP was leading in 53 of the 90 seats, 8 seats more than the halfway mark of 45. The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) was ahead in 17 seats, followed by the Congress at 11 and others at 6, according to trends.
