Mob beats up Bihar minister for cop baton at event

A mob threw a fit and bashed up a minister last night over not being allowed to watch a cultural show from their preferred gallery.

Vinay Bihari, the minister for art, culture and youth affairs, suffered serious injuries on his head and face when a group of people thrashed him and pelted stones during a cultural show in Rohtas.

His official car and vehicles of other district administrative and police officers were badly damaged and subsequently set on fire.
