Anonymous threatens to shut down Internet today: Interpol Chief-NewsX

Interpol's secretary general, Ronald K Noble says that there's a strong chance that the hacking group, anonymous could shut down the Internet on Saturday. Delivering a lecture in New Delhi Noble said that the operation named "Operation Global Blackout 2012 looks to shut down the internet by disabling its core DNS servers, making websites inaccessible". According to some media reports the group Anonymous has denied the reports of forcing a Net Shutdown. But according to Noble, "Anonymous" is protesting against several reasons including the crash of Wall Street and irresponsible leaders. He also said that "investigations had been launched by Colombia, Chile and Spain as their private and public websites were attacked by the group
