Key evidence against Iqbal Mirchi goes missing

Close on the heels of the fiasco over the gangster abu Salem's extradition from Portugal, the Mumbai police have told the Central agencies that original files containing evidence against fugitive drug lord Iqbal Mirchi has been missing since 1993-94.Now, based on the missing file police have categorically told the home department that India should stop trying to get Mirchi back as the evidence needed for his extradition is extemely weak.
