Despite the global progress in tackling unemployment,... the International Labour Organization says the general quality of jobs is getting worse.
In its annual report released on Wednesday,... the organization said global unemployment fell by two million to 172-million in 2018.
While numbers are expected to improve this year,... the quality of jobs deteriorated last year with 61-percent of the global workforce in informal employment,.. typically vulnerable jobs with low pay and no social protection.
