There were times when Jinno Neko wanted a toy or store display that wasn’t for sale. “All the toys I couldn’t get my hands on, I’ve now blown them up”—into bamboo sculptures.

Her cat and dog sculptures, some of which she wears on her head, are a modern twist on traditional Chinese and Japanese paper crafts.
