Chris Burrous has died at the age of 43.
KTLA anchor Chris Burrous, age 43, passed away on Thursday after being found unconscious in a Glendale, California motel room. "Glendale police received a call about 1:15 p.m. from a man who said a man he was with at the Days Inn...had passed out and was possibly not breathing," according to KCBS.
CPR was administered on the scene and Burrous was rushed to an area hospital. KTLA reports that he died not long after.
"We're waiting for a toxicology report to come back from the coroner's office," Glendale police Sgt. Dan Suttles said. "Until we get that we won't be able to tell what the cause of death was. It is being investigated as a possible overdose." Burrous is survived by his wife and 9-year-old daughter.
