LGE: I wasn’t sleeping but merely resting my eyes

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng has denied claims that he fell asleep during the Budget 2019 debate. He said that his eyes were unwell, in response to Umno secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa, who uploaded an image on his Twitter account of the minister with his eyes shut.
