Asian Games 2018 : Seema Punia bags Bronze medal in Discus Throw at Asiad|वनइंडिया हिंदी

Seema Punia registered her season best throw of 62.26m to clinch the discus throw bronze medal at the ongoing Asian Games on Thursday.The 35-year-old, who had won the gold medal four years ago in Incheon, would have needed something special to get the better of the two Chinese throwers who had cleared the 64m mark before coming into the Games.

एशियन गेम्स में भारतीय एथलीटों का जलवा जारी है. भारत की दिग्गज डिस्कस थ्रोअर सीमा अंतिल पुनिया ने एशियन गेम्स में कांस्य पदक जीता है. सीमा ने अपने अंतिम अटेम्प्ट में 61.18 मीटर का थ्रो फेंका. सीमा पूनिया का पर्सनल बेस्ट थ्रो 62.62 मीटर का रहा है. आपको बता दें, कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में तीन सिल्वर और एक ब्रोंज जीत चुकी है. इसी साल गोल्ड कोस्ट में आयोजित कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में उन्होंने सिल्वर मेडल जीता था. जबकि पिछले बार 2014 के एशियन गेम्स में सीमा ने गोल्ड मेडल जीता. इसके अलावा तीन बार ओलंपिक में भी हिस्सा ले चुकी है. लेकिन एक बार भी पदक नहीं जीत पायी.
