Brush fire breaks out in northern California county

A fire was ignited in Milpitas, a city eight miles north of San Jose, on July 22. According to local media, fire crews responded to the blaze off Country Club Road and N. Park Victoria Road that afternoon. The fire scorched at least 300 acres and was moving east. This video, taken by Keannu Aquino and shared to Facebook, shows smoke above Sandy Wool Lake. Residents in the area were placed under an evacuation order. The cause of the fire was not reported at the time of writing.
