Saudi Arabian desert turns white after rare snowstorm

The Tabuk region in the north west of Saudi Arabia was among the areas to be blanketed by a white sheet as temperatures plunged in the Middle East.
According to reports by local media, residents and visitors from outside the region came to experience the rare event. Several photos and videos were shared on social media sites.
