Director Luc Besson has revealed the follow-up film to 2017's 'Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets' would not cost as much to make as the first motion picture in the franchise. The reason the second film will cost less is because the story is "different." However, the third project would see the price shoot back up. Scripts for a second and third 'Valerian' are thought to have been written. However, it's not 100 per cent confirmed a sequel will be made.
