The government says it is facing a drug emergency, and the president has told police to shoot drug dealers who resist arrest. The court said Sudewarto didn’t have a permit to use marijuana, and that he supplied it to another person. His family wants to appeal.The father of two is being held in a jail on the island of Borneo. He will not be free for another eight months. He was also fined the equivalent of $75,000.
