Mob of Emus Trap Family in a Car in Eagle Rock

A family on a cross-country vacation was trapped in a car by a mob (yes, that’s what they’re called) of emus in Eagle Rock, Missouri, on June 30.New Yorker Angela Maresca stopped at Promised Land Zoo in Eagle Rock to treat her kids to a day of animal watching.While on the safari, the family was stopped by emus that pecked at the car windows looking for food. The children in the car can be heard laughing in delight.Maresca and her family are taking a cross-country driving vacation to explore several American states. They landed in Arkansas and rented a car to drive to Missouri. Maresca told Storyful, “We thought we would make great memories driving across the open land with the children.
