Did CBFC ban Raveena Tandon’s ‘Maatr’?

As the gossip mills were constantly fuelling in B-town with the ban of the movie Maatr starring Raveena Tandon, the latest news has put an end to all the rumours.
Denying the reports related to ban of the movie, the Central Board of Film Certification CEO, Anurag Srivastava said,
“The screening of the movie Maatr for CBFC was done on Saturday evening and at the moment there is no screening of Maatr again. Ban on the movie is false, as the examination committee is still in process and the result will be conveyed in a day or two,”
Reportedly, an entire group of The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) walked out during the session of the film for showing objectionable content in the movie.
After this, rumours started making rounds that CBFC has even refused to give a certificate to the movie.
It seems that before hitting the screens, Maatr, has already hit a lot of attention.
