After protests, Poland won't back total abortion ban

After mass street protests in Poland, legislators with the country's ruling party have abruptly reversed their positions and voted against a proposal to completely ban abortion.
The justice and human rights committee recommended that parliament reject the bill following a wave of protests earlier in the week that appear to have caught the rightwing government off guard.
