Peru: Saving the Arapaima from Extinction | Global 3000

Found in the Amazon river, the arapaima is the largest freshwater fish in the world. It's considered a delicacy in Peru but overfishing has left stocks badly depleted. A 10-year fishing ban has been introduced in the Imiria conservation area.
