Man ends up with backward foot after breaking it at music festival, then walks away

BYRON BAY, AUSTRALIA — A Facebook video has emerged showing an attendee at Australia’s Splendour in the Grass music festival breaking his foot, then walking away with his foot visibly backward on his leg.
Someone’s cell phone camera captured the moment the young man shocked fellow festival-goers after he simply stood up and limped away with his foot backward, leaving everyone watching in horror.
In the video, festival-goers can be heard telling the man that he cannot walk with the injured ankle. However, the young fellow doesn’t heed their advice, and decides to stand up and walk away, eliciting some laughter and cheers from the crowd.
Some viewers commented that the man was probably too traumatised to focus on the pain from his injury, thus enabling to him to stand up and walk. Others said the video was only a prank and that the man was wearing his shoe backward.
