Interview of Lindsey Vonn after the 2nd DH in La Thuile!

Translation:
Interviewer: When I saw your reaction right in the finish you were happy with the 2nd Place today.
Lindsey: Yeah I’m happy. It was difficult with my slef condfidence. I wasn’t confident at the start. I gave everything and I still had problems at this curve. But it’s my 8th DH Globe and i’m really proud.
Interviewer: How difficult was it after all what happend yesterday?
Lindsey: It was difficult. I’m disappointed with all what happend & what I did. My emotions were to high. I’m only human and not everything can be perfect. I have to remember that. I’m trying to look forward.
Interviewer: When did you realize that it wasn’t such a good idea to post the video in Facebook?
Lindsey: I don’t know. I thought this are my emotions and I’m frustrated and human and maybe the people want to see it. I know it was a bad idea and i can be interpreted wrong. Also for Head it was a bad idea. The ski was already broken but it wasn’t a good idea from me. I have to say that it had nothing to do with Head. We had so much success together and I want to say sorry. There were to many emotions .
Interviewer: But it shows your class that you made after that the 2nd place today.
Lindsey: I was really disappointed yesterday and I slept not much. Normally I don’t make mistakes because I know i’m a role model. I have to stay always perfect but i’m not always perfect and i make mistakes. And the only thing I can say is i’m sorry and i hope that the people understand that.
