15 states on board for UDAY scheme

The much-awaited debt restructuring for power sector is finally taking shape. Power Minister Piyush Goyal said that as many as 15 states have signed up for the Central governent's UDAY scheme & this could help in resolving up to 90 percent of the current outstanding debt which in turn will ease pressure on lenders too.
