France anti-terror raids: rocket launcher seized in Lyon - local media

Dozens of police searches and raids took place over Sunday night across France in the wake of the Paris terror attacks, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls told local media on Monday.

At least 129 people were killed in coordinated attacks across central Paris on Friday night.

French police seized a rocket launcher and arrested several people during a raid in Lyon, according to French broadcaster BFMTV.

An international arrest warrant has been issued for Salah Abdeslam, who is wanted on suspicion of hiring a car used in the Paris attacks.

The French investigation has pointed to the likelihood of a team led by French nationals, based in Belgium, being behind the attacks.

“The despicable attacks which hit us on Friday were prepared abroad, and a team of participants was mobilised on Belgian territory – which could have benefited, the investigation indicates, from help in France,” French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said at a news conference on Sunday.
